Planes, trains, and automobiles, we recycle them ALL. Composed of steel, aluminum, and many other materials, 12 to 15 million cars are recycled in the US each year. Many of these cars are dismantled and the parts sold to repair like vehicles. The rest of the car is shredded where the scrap metal generated is used to make new cars.
